A Japanese Love Story

Japan was amazing. It was every bit of what I had imagined and more from other people’s stories about the culture, food and the people. We stayed in Nagano for three days then moved to the city for the next five.

We stayed in a traditional ryokan for one night. And in more exciting news, Miguel and I are already engaged! He proposed to me in the snow.

Another highlight for me was visiting the Ghibli Museum in Mitaka. We’re huge fans of Hayao Miyazaki’s work. My current favorite as of the moment is The Secret World of Arrietty along with My Neighbor Totoro, Spirited Away, Howl’s Moving Castle, Ponyo and Koro’s Big Day Out. This is what I consider my Disneyland.
